In circulation are a variety of documents that make reference to the nature of the site, its ecology and activities related to the site.
In 2008 Broxtowe Borough Council published a new site leaflet supported with financial aid from WREN. It contains some details of the site and its industrial history, a site map and two described circular walking routes. Hardcopy of the leaflet is available from Broxtowe and parish councils, county libraries, Durban House and the Friends of Colliers Wood; or download from here.
Broxtowe publish an annual Borough of Broxtowe Guided Walks leaflet. This includes the Walk and Talk events that are centred on Colliers Wood. Hardcopy of the leaflet is available from the council, Durban House, Kimberley Leisure Centre and libraries. Greasley Parish Council organise a program of parish footpath walks that include Colliers Wood in some itineraries. These are included in the Guided Walks leaflet.
The Friends are preparing a booklet showing the details of the trees to be found at site.
Programs of activities are periodically issued in the form of flyers.

Urban gardens present a major opportunity for extending the habitats available to a wide range of wildlife. A good guide to the potential your own garden has for supporting wildlife is ” Attracting Wildlife into your Garden“.
